Facial Feminization Surgery in Las Vegas

Every face carries its gender signal differently, so every FFS plan is different. These are the components Dr. Troell draws from — each one an operation he has performed for decades in its own right:

Brow and forehead

The upper third leads most feminization plans. A brow lift raises and reshapes a low, flat brow line into the gently arched position that reads feminine, and softens the heaviness above the eyes. It is frequently the single highest-yield procedure in FFS.

Nose — feminizing rhinoplasty

Chin and jaw

Chin geometry is where feminine and masculine faces differ most: a feminine chin is triangular or gently trapezoidal, a masculine chin taller and more rectangular. Off-the-shelf implants ignore that difference — which is why Dr. Troell’s chin and custom facial implant work designs to the individual face, reducing or reshaping where feminization calls for it. For transmasculine patients the same skill set runs in reverse: custom jawline implants that build the angular structure that carries masculinity.

Cheeks, lips, and soft tissue

Facial fat grafting adds the softer midface convexity and lip volume that hormone therapy alone often cannot — your own living tissue, placed where the feminine face carries fullness.

Tracheal shave

A tracheal shave (chondrolaryngoplasty) conservatively reduces the thyroid cartilage prominence through a small, discreetly placed incision. Because the vocal cords attach to this cartilage, conservative technique and head-and-neck anatomy training matter here more than anywhere else in FFS — Dr. Troell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Skin and aging

Where skin laxity blurs the result — often in patients transitioning later in life — a facelift or neck work can be staged into the plan.

FFS rewards exactly the training a facial plastic surgeon brings: bony and soft-tissue work around the brow, nose, chin, and jaw, plus head-and-neck anatomy for the tracheal shave. It punishes template thinking — a feminization plan applied carelessly produces the same class of error as the reverse mistake Dr. Troell has written about in male aesthetic surgery: a face that no longer reads as its owner.
