Will I have scars after liposuction?

You will have very small scars after liposuction, as Dr. Troell will need to make an incision to insert the cannula. However, these scars are very difficult to see once they have faded. We will place each incision very carefully to minimize the chances of scarring.

Can I gain fat back after liposuction?

It is possible to gain new fat cells after a liposuction procedure. Maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine will help you prevent future fat gain.

Is liposuction painful?

You won't feel pain during your liposuction procedure, but you will feel some pain afterward as your body heals. We will prescribe pain medication to use for the first few days after surgery.

When can I return to work after liposuction?

This will depend entirely on your job and your individual comfort level. If you work from home, you may be able to go back to work after just a day or two. If you work in person, you may want to take the entire week off. For physically strenuous jobs, you should wait until you've been cleared by Dr. Troell to resume working.
