Do I need to take time off of work for CO2 laser resurfacing?

Your skin will scab and peel for the first two weeks after the procedure. If you work from home, you may be able to return to your job after the first few days. If you work in person, you will need to take at least a week off to let your skin heal.

What are the risks of CO2 laser resurfacing?

The risks of CO2 laser treatments are minimal, particularly with a fractional laser. However, there is a slight risk of infection as well as long-term redness and hyperpigmentation. Being diligent with your skincare routine will help you avoid these risks.

How many CO2 laser treatments will I need?

Most patients will only need one treatment to see results. We may recommend a second treatment for very deep wrinkles or acne scarring, but it is usually not necessary.

What areas can I treat with a CO2 laser?

Most patients opt for full-face treatments with the CO2 laser. Some patients also opt to treat the neck.
