When can I eat solid food after chin and cheek augmentation?

Most chin and cheek procedures involve incisions inside your mouth, which will affect your ability to eat. The swelling and soreness from your chin implant will also make it difficult to chew. In most cases, you'll need to stick to a liquid diet for two to three days after surgery, slowly adding soft foods back into your diet. Avoid hard, crunchy foods like apples and nuts until you've been cleared by Dr. Troell.

Will I have visible scars?

In most cases, the incisions for your implants will be inside your mouth, leaving no visible scarring. In cases where the incisions are outside the mouth, the scars will be very small and discreet.

How long will my face be numb after surgery?

Many patients will experience some numbness for about one week after surgery. After this point, sensation and mobility will start to return.
